Access Trax A 2022 SheEO US Venture Semi-Finalist

Access Trax Honored To Be Semi-Finalist Again

On January 18th 2020, SheEO announced that Access Trax is once again a Semi-Finalist for the opportunity to become a SheEO US Venture. Founded in 2015 in Canada, SheEO is an innovative model for supporting women-led businesses through high-impact loans, mentorship and networking. Available in Canada, the US, Australia, New Zealand and the UK, the SheEO model brings together women from different backgrounds around the world. SheEO Activators contribute to a Perpetual Fund and vote to select the Ventures based on certain criteria. Selected Ventures are loaned funds from the Perpetual Fund at zero percent interest over a 5 year period. To be considered, Ventures must be women-led and are working on the “World’s To-Do List” which coincide with at least one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

How the SheEO Program Works

Venture applications open once a year and are evaluated by the Activators who then vote for the Semi-Finalists. A second-round application is submitted by the Semi-Finalists and a few months later, the voting begins again to select the Finalists. Funding is loaned out to the Ventures over a 5 year term and then loaned out again, creating the Perpetual Fund that will be passed on to future female-led social-impact Ventures. In addition to the funding, SheEO Semi-Finalists and Finalists have access to the entire network of Activators, mentorship and a community that empowers women to ask, give, and practice radical generosity.

Since launching in 2015, SheEO has brought together over 7,000 Activations, raised more than $7 million in loans, and funded over 107 Ventures across the globe.

What’s Next

As 1 of 13 Ventures chosen to qualify out of over 99 applications, Access Trax will find out in February 2022 if we earn a spot in the finals. It is an honor to be among this cohort of amazing visionaries who are working to make the world a better place.
