2020 Switchfoot BRO-AM Beach Fest
June 27 @ 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Event update: This year would mark the 16th annual Switchfoot BRO-AM music and surf festival at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. Unfortunately, the event organizers had to make the difficult decision of cancelling the in-person festivities amid health concerns due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Here is what the crew has to say: “While we can’t physically be together for our annual community hug this summer, we can still keep the heart of BRO-AM beating by helping kids in immediate need – this is why we exist!”
In order to fight hunger in our community, the BRO-AM Foundation has donated $5,000 to Feeding San Diego and is challenging their event supporters to also help out. Feeding San Diego is working quickly to meet the growing need for food during the Covid-19 crisis. If you would like to donate and help families in need, please click here.
Here is a bit about the traditional Switchfoot BRO-AM event and what we’ll hopefully see in 2021: This epic event features a beach concert, food and merch vendors, and a surf contest. The Rob Machado Foundation also takes part, plus a clinic hosted by the Junior Seau Adaptive Surf Program. Proceeds from the Switchfoot BRO-AM benefit local charities including the Challenged Athletes Foundation. Last year, special musical guest Lindsey Stirling graced the staged with her phenomenal violin skills. This event really focuses on community and giving back, so we hope you’ll join the fun!
