Access Trax CEO Kelly Twichel and local adaptive athlete Albert Pruitt were invited onto the Fox 5 segment “Made In San Diego.” The interview aired live on Monday November 4th, 2019. The two explain why Beach Trax is an important invention for easy and safe access for all when it comes to outdoor terrain.
In order to show how the Beach Trax portable beach access mat works, Kelly laid it out for Albert to use. Albert explained that with Beach Trax, “one person can lay these out, and we can cruise the beach. I have greater independence and freedom.” Additionally, Albert shared that before Beach Trax, he’s experienced getting stuck in sand with his wheelchair- a frustrating situation. The access that Beach Trax provides is “night and day” compared to other options, being much more lightweight, portable, and durable.
